Dutch Regional Dress Paper Doll, c. 2002

From the collection of Mirna Rodriguez, one of the newest members of the NYC paper doll group. Mirna found this at a flea market, and was kind enough to let me scan it in for the blog.

Even the folder it came in was cleverly designed. It is likely still for sale in the gift shop of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The cost was 6.50 euros, which places this item no earlier than 2002, when the currency was adopted by the Netherlands.

  1. Fascinating. And a great shame I am rubbish at the Dutch!

I have always thought it a great pity that we don't really have national dress in England
